This is a lot of house for the money. It's been extremely livable for our family with a great family/TV room just off the kitchen--vaulted ceilings and a fireplace with gas log insert. The fenced yard is large, shady, and very private. There is a breakfast nook on one side of the kitchen and a full dining room on the other, with a formal living room also on the first floor. The four bedrooms are on the second floor with a private bathroom for the master bedroom and a full bathroom for the other rooms. The basement has a large, finished rec. room that has served as a teenager room for our kids and a work-at-home office when they left for college. We replaced the roof just last spring (2011). Good Shepherd Parish School is within close walking distance, and the Shawnee Mission Public Schools provided a top rate education and experience for our children.
