Thank all of you for taking time to view my home and provide feedback! I have received several requests to explain what I mean by “exceptionally well built” and “quality construction” in my previous description of my home. Here is my response: In 2008, when I began to plan my house, new home construction had a hit a low point that enabled me to access some of Santa Fe’s most reputable craftsmen in the industry. The quality spanned from the builder who has consistently won awards for his attention to detail to the plumber who has decades of experience installing radiant heating systems. The roofer displayed sheer mathematical genius (the cupola!), and the plasterers were true artists with each stroke of the hand to multiple, complex cuts of the cathedral ceiling. The All-Star Crew was eager to work and worked as a team. It was inspiring and energizing to be around them, especially during a recession! Their names speak volumes more than I can write in this small space. Here is a partial list: Madera Builders, LLC: Gerry Barber. American Plumbing and Heating, Inc: Richard Haddrill with fixtures and components from Dahl Plumbing. Electric Force, Inc: Art Cordova. Palmer Construction: Richard Palmer. Southwest Plastering Co., Inc: Michael Roybal with stucco and plaster from Coronado Paint and Supply. Call Richard at 505-795-6092.
