We are a group of young (23-29) professional guys. We have one of the best houses in Manayunk and are looking for a guy to replace one of the roommates who is leaving. The house is on Dupont Street near Baker Street, very close to Main Street and the Manayunk train station. The house has 5BRs and three full baths, so there is never a problem with bathroom availability. We are looking for another young professional or grad student to complete the house. The house itself is awesome! It was recently completely renovated, so everything is new and very contemporary. The downstairs is huge! It has hard wood floors throughout and is fully furnished. The living room has three sofas, coffee and end tables, lamps, carpet, and a 65" flat screen tv. The dining area has a large contemporary table, four chairs and a bench. The kitchen is very spacious with new cabinets, granite countertops and all new appliances including a dishwasher. There is a full bathroom off the hallway near the kitchen. There is a large bricked patio in the back which is perfect for hanging out and grilling in nice weather. We generally keep the house pretty neat, with everyone picking up after themselves. The second floor has three bedrooms and a new bathroom. The third floor has two bedrooms and its own full bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a large, dry basement for storage. The washer and dryer are in the basement. The house has central air, which is definitely great in the summer! The room available is in the rear of the house on the second floor. The room is a decent size and has wood floors, a decent size closet and a ceiling fan. It is also currently furnished with a full size bed, dresser, desk and desk chair. The rent for the room is $695 plus utilities. All of the utilities are split five ways, which would include electric, gas, cable TV and internet. They usually run about $100 per month per person. We are all working professionals, college grads. We hang out a bit together and also entertain friends from time to time. We are looking for someone close to our age range who is social and would enjoy hanging out and bouncing around the city with us. We aren't looking for a party animal, but if you don't drink alcohol socially, you probably would not be a good fit for our house. While we're pretty sure that we have one of the nicest houses in Manayunk and the pics should give you a good idea, you really have to see it for yourself.
