My beautiful one-bedroom condo in Dupont Circle is available to rent starting 01 August 2025 (there may be some flexibility with the date). The apartment will be rented unfurnished. The apartment is large (720 square feet) and has a modern kitchen with all full-sized stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, microwave, gas stove/oven, dishwasher) and plenty of counter-top and cabinet space. The countertops are granite, and the cabinets were totally updated two years ago. The bathroom is sleek and modern, renovated during the pandemic. It has a full-sized cast iron tub. The bedroom is airy and sunny, and it has a sizable walk-in closet with plenty of shelves. The bedroom and the living room have together three custom built-in bookcases. The bedroom and living areas each have their own separate heating and cooling units. The apartment, which is on an upper floor of the St. George, has five floor-to-ceiling windows that offer plenty of sunshine as well views to the east of charming neighboring homes in the neighborhood. The apartment has blond wood floors that contribute to the very bright and airy interior. The building has a front desk attendant working during daytime hours. The rooftop of the building is amazing. There is seating, and there are barbecues. The area can be reserved. You can see fireworks on the Mall from there, and the views are pretty spectacular even on a regular night. It is a fantastic amenity. Over the years, I have had a good fortune to have excellent tenants taking great care of the apartment, and they have always been terrific neighbors to the other residents in the building. We always worked together very well. I hope to find such great tenants again. This is a condo building that is really well-managed. The rent includes utilities (electricity, air conditioning, gas for cooking, water, and trash), which is an amazing deal. Rent does not include internet. Please note: No smoking and no pets. The apartment does not include parking. Laundry facilities are shared (and on the floor). There is no storage unit available in the building for renters, but the apartment has a large closet at the entrance as well as a large walk-in closet with shelving. The building does charge its own move-in fee that has been $250 (I will confirm if this is the current fee, but it has not changed for a while). The building will allow move-in only on a week day during business hours. The move must be coordinated and confirmed by the new tenant with the building management in order to reserve an elevator.
