Alice Rocks is ideally situated between the Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake, offering a vast array of recreational opportunities. The cottage is an actual antique farmhouse, with portions around 100 years old, remodeled with modern conveniences. Easy access to the cabin with no AWD or 4WD necessary, and gravel parking for 3-4 standard vehicles on site. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a gas grill, a fire pit, and picnic tables. Fresh linens and towels are provided, along with essential starter packs to make your stay easier. Starter packs include toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, shampoo and conditioner, bar soap, trash bags, and a sponge. Trailer parking is available next to the cottage but requires some maneuvering. Dogs are permitted with an additional $100 fee, dogs only, with a maximum of 2 allowed. Dogs need to be crated if left at the property alone. The proximity to Frenchburg makes a quick weekend getaway or an extended family group stay enjoyable. Check-in begins at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. Arriving early or departing late will result in additional charges. No smoking is allowed inside, only outside. No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted. Guests can access the land in front of the cabin spanning from the bottom of the north hillside behind the cabin down to Beaver Creek on the south. The cellar, pump house, and barn are not accessible to cabin guests. The fire pit may be used in accordance with the Menifee County Fire Protection District regulations. Fires must be attended until extinguished and put completely out. Pets brought to pet-friendly cabins must be paid for in advance or at the time of booking. A minimum of $350 per pet will be charged for pets brought to non-pet-friendly cabins or for pets that were not pre-approved.
