This doesn't relate to my home in particular but I couldn't figure out another way to raise a generic question. In Chattanooga/Hamilton County, TN, owners pay separate county and city property taxes. Zillow only shows the county, which means you are understating the amount by almost half. If you value accurate information, you need to check the tax information for specifics. In some jurisdictions, the county assessors info may or may not reflect the city tax. This even varies by state. In Virginia, incorporated cities are not part of the county. If you don't want to go to the trouble of getting accurate information, at least put a note telling people that there may be separate city taxes. In Chattanooga see the online info from the City's Treasurer's Office.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
