Many, many updates since 2015. All permits were pulled. Kitchens and bathrooms in both units fully remodeled, including replacing all galvanized pipe in the entire house with copper pipe, all cast iron vents/drains with PVC, new cupboards and cabinets, added insulation, replaced plaster with drywall, added tile floors, LED light fixtures, new stainless appliances, Minka-Aire ceiling fans, can lights, new bath tubs, vanities, medicine cabinets, etc. etc. Every wall was repaired and painted throughout the house. This is an old-world house with modern amenities. Multiple walk-in closets exist throughout the units – they’ve been refinished, painted white, and had custom LED lights added. Electricity has been upgraded at both panels and throughout 80% of the house, recent central air conditioning to both units has been added, a furnace was replaced, glass block windows were added to the basement, architectural plaster throughout the entire house was fixed by a master painter, the yard has been fully fenced-in for dogs, kids, and privacy, etc. The basement is clean, walls were painted, and extensive landscaping was done to shuttle water away from the house in 2019. The basement has been dry since. The common basement laundry room was partially finished with tile to modernize it. A slab was poured to extend the driveway for an additional parking space, and to accommodate the addition of a wooden shed to house lawn equipment/furniture (the shed has been added). The back fire escape and the front steps were completely rebuilt with treated lumber. All original wooden floors and old-world stained-glass built-ins exist in perfect condition. Carpeting was replaced in the stairwell for noise and comfort. Carpeting was added to the bedrooms of the upper unit for sound control and comfort. The carpet is in new condition. Includes a large two car garage that fits two SUVs with room to spare. New garage opener and fobs. 2 off-street parking spaces as well. There are countless options with this house. Live here for free while you rent the other unit, or rent the entire place for easy cash flow, or an extra house for when family comes to town, or convert it to a single family! The medical college of Wisconsin is less than 2 miles away. The craftsmanship must be seen in person to be fully appreciated.
