Sunlit and spacious, the heart of the home is a well-equipped kitchen with an oversized island overlooking a large pool and landscaped grounds.Laundry: In-unit washer/dryer available Pet policy: No pets allowedHome Truths:- Please respect the neighbors. Loud music is not permitted, and backyard noise should be kept to a minimum, especially when traveling with children.- Guests have exclusive access to the entire property, including the main house, guest house, and pool house.- The pool is open seasonally and will close on September 28, 2026. It is professionally cleaned and chemically balanced weekly; however, as an open-air pool, natural debris between service visits is normal. A skimmer net is provided for your convenience, and our team is always happy to assist if needed. - Pool heating is available for an additional $75/night and is designed to maintain temperatures up to approximately 8284F under normal operating and weather conditions. Outdoor pool temperatures may vary based on weather, usage, and other external factors. While we make every effort to ensure the heater is functioning properly, pool heating cannot be guaranteed at a specific temperature at all times. In the unlikely event the heater is unavailable due to a mechanical or service issue, pool heating fees will be refunded. Utilities, including pool heating, are billed separately for stays over 14 nights.- Please note that the property's mailbox is reserved for owner use, and access to the garage and basement is not included for guests.The Neighborhood:Nestled between the North and South Forks (although technically classified as part of the North Fork region) is Shelter Island. A tiny island accessed only by ferry from either Greenport on the North Fork, or North Haven on the South Fork, Shelter Island is known for its natural beauty, hiking, biking, bird-watching and some of the most breathtaking kayaking in Suffolk County. The entire island is approximately 27 square miles.Other Things to Note:Disclaimers: Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors.
