We are looking for tenants to rent our fully furnished home for the 2023-24 academic year while we are on sabbatical. The main floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The recently finished basement has 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom, as well as living spaces, desks, and a separate entrance. The kitchen was renovated a few years ago and is fully stocked. Children's toys can be included if desired, or can be packed away. Washer/dryer is provided in the basement. The car port has been converted into a covered porch for outdoor gathering. There is a large fenced backyard with gardens in the front and back full of flowers, berries, and fig trees. Basic lawn care will be managed by the owner. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are two parks within a few blocks and a nearby trail through the woods, while the golf course offers a great view of sunset. Shops including grocery stores are a short walk away and campus and downtown are only 10 minutes by bike or a few minutes by car. The neighborhood is full of families of all ages and is zoned for Margaret Beeks Elementary School. Owner pays water, sewage, and trash. Renter is responsible for gas (used for heating and range). Electricity is mostly covered by solar panels, renter pays any additional above solar capacity. Basic lawn and garden care is handled by the owner, but the renter is free to use the raised beds and tend to the gardens if they would like. No smoking or vaping. The house is fully furnished and all furniture most remain in the house. However, furniture can be moved, rearranged, or stored in the basement to meet the tenants needs. A car may also be available for tenant use, with terms to be negotiated. Lease is listed as 1 year on Zillow because selection options are limited. In reality, lease is for the academic year (9-10 months), or may be considered as short as one semester (4-5 months).
