This home was completely re-done in October 2011. The outside is painted "Twig" with black accents. The black paint is special Sun Proof paint specially designed and only available from Pittsburgh Paints. The black is fade resistant for 20 years. New AirTite windows were installed in the house by Kute Window and bath. These windows feature Argon gas in between the dual glass for extra energy efficiency. They also carry a lifetime guarantee not to leak. The inside is painted Wheat Bread which is a very neutral light brown color. All the interior doors and casings were replaced. The home features two panel doors with oil rubbed bronze fixtures. The casings around the door are higher end 3 ½ inch casing as opposed to the standard 2 inch (along with the baseboards). The bath has a tub shower combo with new 20” porcelain tile and decorative trim. The vanity has been replaced and oil rubbed bronze fixtures carry through out the house. The three bedrooms and hall are furnished with a stain master carpet and high end carpet pad from Yates. The living room, entry way, and hall way all feature crown molding. The living, kitchen, entry way, dining room, and utility all have a porcelain wood floor look that is more durable than wood floors or laminates. This tile is roughly $4 dollars a square foot for material only and it is very durable. The appliances are all high end stainless steel. This is a great house in a low traffic neighborhood across from Wright Elementary and a park. Long story short, this house had 20K worth of materials sunk into it in a complete renovation and puts houses twice the price to shame. Other comparable houses in this neighborhood have recently (October 2011) sold for 55 dollars per square foot with out new windows, floors, and doors. This is hands down, bar none, the best house you can find in the 70-80K price range. Neighborhood Description Quiet! Other than traffic from the school there is no thru traffic. Most people do not know the neighborhood exists and the crime rate is almost non existent. The ten years I lived in the neighborhood (not in this particular house) I never locked my door. There are a few rent houses in the neighborhood that aren't as well taken care of as the owner occupant houses.
