However, the recycling bin must be stored within the tenant's patio area. Security Deposit: - A security deposit equivalent to one month's rent is required. This deposit is refundable, subject to the condition of the apartment upon move-out, as per lease agreements and applicable laws. Smoking Policy: - Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment and in all common areas of the property. Tenants wishing to smoke must do so off property grounds. General Conduct: - Tenants are expected to adhere to all community policies and to maintain a respectful and neighborly conduct at all times. - Noise levels should be kept to a minimum, especially during quiet hours as defined by the leasing agreement or Tempe city ordinances. Alterations and Improvements: - Tenants may not make any alterations, additions, or improvements to the premises without prior written consent from the landlord. Maintenance and Repairs: - Tenants are responsible for maintaining the premises in a clean and orderly manner. - All repairs and major maintenance should be reported to management as soon as possible so we can help keep the apartment in good repair. - Normal wear and tear are expected, but tenants will be liable for damages that exceed normal usage.
