This acreage has been a wonderful home for us. We've been here twelve years and just love being minutes from downtown and midtown. Not fond of West Omaha, neighbors, traffic and covenants? Then this is the place for you! The home and barn need a little fixing up so we have kept the price low to account for the flaws. Did have the wood floors refinished and the home has Pella and Anderson windows. A security system and underground water sprinkler. Never had a problem with the heating or air and the hot water heater's about 5 now. The fireplaces are gas but I shut them off because we love the smell of wood. The yard is nice and there's 2 apple trees, one cherry and one nectarine. Different kinds of grapes grow along the lattice of pool deck, and the flower gardens are 90% perennials. Big deer proof vegetable garden amidst the tiered lawn. The pool is surrounded by a deck, gazebo and pool barn. The actual barn by the meadow is partially finished as in a sizable room with insulation, wood burning stove, electrical, cable and A/C. The rest of the barn is for critters. I built an atrium with an electric fence because we had peacocks, but it is easily taken down if your a horse lover etc. My kids are almost grown and I'm opening another business so time for upkeep is getting to be a bit much and I don't believe in paying someone to do what I can do myself.
