The room could be furnished with some items like a king-size bed and bed frame; a nightstand; a chest of drawers; a mirror; two bookshelves; a coffee table; a couch and other small items. A full inventory would be provided upon move-in if the room is furnished. One single payment of 540 will be required if opting for a furnished room. HOUSE/NEIGHBORHOOD: Our house has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen with hardwood floors installed in the last 3 years, a large dining area, a furnished living room with a wonderful collection of plants, and a backyard featuring a porch and grill. The in-unit washer/dryer is on the second floor. We love the location of our house. We are within walking distance of an excellent selection of grocery stores (e.g., TJs, Streets), restaurants, and coffee shops. Malcolm X/Meridian Hill Park is right around the corner. We are a few blocks from the U St and Columbia Heights metros (green/yellow lines). LOGISTICS: The room is available in mid-December. The move-in date is somewhat flexible. Rent includes water. All other utilities are split five ways among the roommates per person; this comes to $19 for WiFi and $50-90 for Pepco (depending on the time of year).
