Furnished, private room & bathroom located on the first floor of a three bedroom house. (Only one other room occupied.) Bedroom is very large and bright - 11 x 15, one useable closet. Also, you have access to the whole, large and freshly updated home. PLEASE NOTE - 1 cat and a young puppy live in this house. You must be pet friendly! They won't go in your room (unless you let them) but allergies could be a concern. The dog is very energetic and does bark especially when getting to know someone or someone comes to the door during the day. She is all bark and no bite. The room for rent feels a lot like its own little apartment. It is located in its own area of the house, with a bathroom right next door. The room comes furnished with a queen sized bed, arm chair, dresser, bedside table, desk, and TV (no cable but you can bring a fire stick/apple tv/etc.). You also have access to almost the whole large and freshly updated house (except the top floor). Living room has been updated this year, kitchen updated in 2016, and basement contains basically a full gym (with tonal - gym of the future as I like to call it, exercise bike, and elliptical). It also has a nice lounge area and laundry room. The back yard has a fire pit, lounge and dinner seating areas and vegetable garden - which you are welcome to eat from during the summer months. House is close to Fort Totten Metro Station (10-15 walk), Brookland, Catholic University, Tacoma Park, multiple bus lines & Providence Hospital. This is a short term rental - I usually rent for 1-4 months at a a time only.
