    Stay in your own lakeside retreat on Long Lake Peninsula with expansive breathtaking views! Take advantage oof all the four seasons has to offer......swimming & boating in the summer, or ice-fishing, skiing & snowmobiling in the winter; this home offers it all...all year round... This home is very spacious and features a lovely deck overlooking the lake, views of the water from the kitchen, living, dining and sun rooms, and has sleeping accommodations for 14 in a total of 10 actual beds. Nestled on Long Lake Peninsula, everyone is very friendly and it's a very nice community. There is a nice playground and park in the center of the peninsula that our kids love to explore, and they even have a neighborhood fun-run every summer! Long Lake is less than 9 miles from downtown Traverse City, one of the most gorgeous, all-sports lake, vacation destinations in the country. The shopping, dining and entertainment of downtown are just a 15 minute drive away whenever you want to explore the city. Long Lake itself is the warmest, cleanest lake in the area. The area right in front of the house is quite shallow for a long distance into the lake, so it's safe for kids to play without a worry of a dangerous drop off. The lake has several islands, including two with docks, restrooms, and hiking trails. You could spend your whole visit never leaving the lake and not run out of things to explore! Interior: On the main floor you will find a fully supplied kitchen, spacious dining room, comfy living room and sun room, and 3 bedrooms. A beautiful (but non-functional, unfortunately) double-sided fireplace divides the dining and living rooms. The main floor bedrooms have a king in the master, a double in the second bedroom, and two twins in the third. The main floor also has 2 full bathrooms. In the finished basement there is a third bedroom with 3 twin beds, a sitting area with a queen sleeper sofa, and a trundle bed (2 twins). There is also a twin-sized foldaway bed that can be used anywhere in the house to accommodate an extra guest. In addition to the adult sleeping options, the home also has a toddler bed and travel crib for your little ones. Exterior: There is a gas grill in the garage that can be easily used in the front or back of the home and 2 propane tanks will be available to guests. This home has terrific water frontage and lake access with a nice dock. For guests who have watercraft, our home is only about a block away from the neighborhood boat launch. We've loads of water toys on hand for use by our guests, including things like foam noodles, floating rafts, snorkels, etc. There is ample space for parking in the large driveway, but unfortunately no parking space is available in the garage as it is used for storage. The home also has a wireless internet modem that you are welcome to use. $2200 month plus utilities. Large 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that sleeps 14.
