"Very Quiet" and large apartment where you can have a washer and dryer inside the apartment, and is priced for quick occupancy. Secured entry lobby has elevator, in addition to secured parking garage. It is a very convenient location within one block to buses for downtown and UW. Apartment is one below top floor on quiet side as well as being an end corner apartment, though should not be considered a vast territorial view apartment. You can turn your head and see the mountains, but otherwise looks into trees and new modern townhouse project to south. This is a VERY large floor plan for a one bedroom and one bathroom apartment. Private covered deck has door and window from living/dining area. Bedroom is on corner of building with four windows in two directions. Kitchen is huge with an eating bar, including disposal, dishwasher, range/oven, refrigerator, and externally venting range hood with light. There is a private laundry room inside apartment that accommodates your own stack washer and dryer or one provided with lease. Most residents in building are very long term and own their washers and dryers, however a high quality stack washer and dryer can be rented on a separate equipment lease for $60 per month. Apartment faces south and west into trees. Very good in city location with free street parking. Located on a treed lot in a three story 15 unit building designed as a condominium project but operated as an apartment building. Building was constructed in mid 90s (with good water pressure). Apartments are heated with electric forced air heat (separate thermostat in each room) with independent water heater for each apartment. Covered parking is available in secured garage below building at $115 per covered secured stall. (Limit two per apartment). There is a utility subsidy fee per occupant in building of $89 each month which covers sewer, water, garbage, compost, recycle, hazardous waste, and electronic recycle. Residents pay their own electricity and cable service if desired. Management tries to keep rents below market and annually adjusts rents every July for entire building with goal of being 5% below market. Building publishes all base rents and operates with total transparency. We write one year leases that revert to month-to-month after a year. Priority is given to applicants with long term rental history. The security deposit is $1000 and last month rent deposit is required. There is NO application fee. (We qualify at 3.5 times rent to gross income.) Apartment can be viewed with appointment only as it is occupied. Please call for a showing and plan on the 24 hours notice to the occupant in the apartment. On site manager may conduct some showings. If you call and get voice mail, just leave a time you wish to see apartment. Give us a call if you are looking for a well priced long term home in the city where you can walk to restaurants in Madison Valley in few blocks, as well as Capitol Hill, new Safeway on E. Madison, and Organic Food Coop a few blocks away. Sample leases and applications are available by email on request for your examination. Earliest move in date would be August 31. Again, NO application fee is required. VERY QUIET APARTMENT - Utility charge of $89 per month covers water, sewer, garbage, recycle, and compost for each occupant. ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING AVAILABLE IN PARKING GARAGE WITH RENTED PARKING STALL AT $115 per month
