We moved into this brand-new home at the end of October 2024 and have been living here ever since. The area is beautiful, and the location is perfect for commuting. It’s a quiet neighborhood with no issues with crime. My kids and I feel safe playing outside without constant supervision. Every day, we’ll see Lake Martin, and there’s a boat ramp just a two-minute drive from our home. About a year ago, we had an inspection done to ensure everything was in order before our home warranty expired, and there were no problems. We’ve replaced the appliances that came with the home, and all of them will stay here: the washer/dryer, fridge, stove, and microwave, unless they’re not needed. The pictures don’t do justice to the size of the rooms. Each room has its own walk-in closet and is wired for a ceiling fan if desired. The master bedroom is particularly spacious, with a large walk-in closet. The master bathroom features a huge tub, a walk-in shower, and a double vanity. The property can be homesteaded to reduce property taxes, but we haven’t done that yet. The taxes are already quite low compared to the area, and our power bill averages around $175 per month. There’s a lot of potential for how the property can be used, especially the massive backyard. The lot borders a small creek that flows into Lake Martin at the back of the property.
