This space makes for the perfect weekend retreat, or your full time home. This is a stand alone building with a private separate entrance. The property comes fully furnished as in the pictures. There is a washer and dryer on the premises in a separate space in the build up area, which is down a flight of stairs from the studio. The walls are currently unfinished. It's rustic, but the washer and dryer work just fine! I am looking for a clean, quiet and considerate individual able to demonstrate income and ability to afford the rent. This space can best accommodate ONE person only, with parking for ONE car. If you are a couple utilizing this space more as a retreat, rather than your full time residence, that would work also. Will need references and a credit/background check per person. We get a lot of generic tour request messages, so it would be really helpful if you tell me a little about yourself and your plans on the mountain! $1550 monthly for an individual, $1650 monthly for a couple. This includes utilities. First month rent plus deposit to move in. 6-12 month lease. There are quite a few stairs on the property. You will need to be able to manage going up and down stairs to live here. The terrain is rugged and hilly, and gets snowy and slippery in the winter months. You need to be in good enough physical shape to navigate these conditions. It's important to know that we can get a ton of snow up here in the winter months. It's fun for a few days, but not if you're snowed in for days, which does happen! Ideally you should have somewhere else that you can go in the event of severe weather. In severe weather, roads close, you will not be able to drive, and it may take days to get plowed out. You may need to chip in with plow costs. You will need to be able to shovel snow! The house is on an access road which does not get plowed by the county. I have included snow pictures to get an idea of how things can be!
