The house was fully renovated in 2016, so everything from the hardwood floors to the modern kitchen is in great shape. The location is also incredibly convenient we're just half a block from the bars and restaurants on 14th St (like Mezcalero, Red Derby, and Lyman's Tavern), the 14th St bus line, multiple grocery stories within a few blocks, and an easy 7 min walk to the Georgia Ave-Petworth metro. Term and timing. We're ideally seeking a 12 month lease beginning around July 1, 2026, but we're flexible we could start as early as June 24, 2026 if that works better for your timing, and the end date could go as late as August 15, 2027. Utilities. Water is included in the rent. Tenant pays electricity, gas, and internet. The house has solar panels that will dramatically reduce your electricity costs, and we recommend Verizon Fios for internet. Furnished items. The house comes fully furnished with everything you need to move in all beds, sofas, desks, monitors, dining table, rugs, TV, linens, and towels are included. The kitchen is well-stocked with appliances, cookware, dishes, and many basics like spices and pantry staples that you're welcome to use. Our house is set up for a family with young kids (bunk beds, playroom toys, outdoor climbing dome), but if you don't have children or prefer a different setup, we can pack away the toys and kid-specific items before you arrive we're happy to discuss. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. This is a non-smoking home.
