This home has been simply wonderful (and I'm not just saying that so you'll wanna buy it!). I raised three children here and even a few Guide Dogs for the Blind. This home was just what we needed, but everyone has flown the coop so it's time for this empty nester to fly! The only problems we have had with this home (other than the 50's style pink bathroom that has since been updated) was a broken heat pump - which was an easy fix. The house is sound, right down to the cement foundation. Speaking of the foundation. The cement basement has served several functions over the last 15 years, including: Playroom, skate park (not kidding), airsoft park, gaming room, bedrooms, laundry room, storage room, craft room, and a place to keep cool in the hottest parts of August. Because the basement is nearly the same size as the upstairs, this will almost double your square footage - and you can make it into whatever you would like it to be. While my yard typically looks like the house belongs to a single mother (because it did), it will look wonderful if you have time to...well, water it. This house is three short blocks from Conger Elementary School and Park and within walking distance of the local high school. Klamath falls is located in the high desert. This means it is dry and arid in the summer and cool and dry (typically) in the winter. According to the sign you see when driving into town, Klamath Falls is the "sunniest city in Oregon." If you love the sun, Klamath Falls is for you! It does snow here in the winter but not too much, and it's a dry snow so it's pretty darn easy to drive in - believe it or not. Having said that, my kids all learned how to snowboard in the backyard! In fact, when they weren't snowboarding in the backyard they were sledding on the hill by Conger Park. How will you spend your time here??!
