This is the best of Carbondale living! Fabulous community and neighbors. Walk or bike to everything you need in town, this is where a lot of teachers and fire fighters live. It was truly a safe haven and a happy home for me to raise my kids. Modest but perfect. They went to Waldorf and CRMS--so sad the Montessori wasn't around at that point. There is now a state funded Montessori school, newly built, no expense spared a stone's throw away. I cared about education over everything--and Carbondale is an educational mecca. Zillow won't allow me to ask for anything longer than a year. But, I just had a renter for 6 years and that is what I am looking for. Longterm. We did 3 2 year contracts in a row with our last renter. I would like at least a two year lease to begin with.
