Also cookouts in the desert are popular, we call them desert dog cookouts) There are sand dunes nearby that people take their favorite "toy". SanDiego is 3 hours away. Phoenix is three hours away. Algodonas mexico is 25 min. away(they have 300dentist and many drug stores at a fraction of the prices) and good dancing and margaritas.
