1895-1900 Brick townhouse. Connected only partially on the west side upper level. Remodeled but kept the original pine flooring and many of the plaster walls. Neighborhood Description Quiet street where the neighbors smile and greet each other but don't force friendships to happen. Plenty of street lights and porch lights make it always feel safe to walk down even late at night. Parking is generally easy to find. Only two blocks from the Baker Park pavilion and the "free concerts in the park" all summer long. Easy walk to play tennis or even go swimming at the community pool. Hood College is about 4 blocks away and Market street with all of it's great restaurants is only one block away. There is a nice little laundry mat within walking distance only 3/4 of a block away for the neighbors without a washer/dryer in the house. E very spring yet another house or two or three have changed from a rental unit into a single owner/occupant home. This means that every spring we find yet another home being remodeled, painted, landscaped etc. It's changed so much over the years and so quickly it's hard to even imagine what it was like just 10 years ago. It's very fun to imagine what it will be like in the next 5 to 10 years! It is a great place to live. We liked it 10 years ago. We LOVE it today!!!
