My kids went to the local schools, an amazing school district (dist 15 for elementary and jr high, dist 211 for HS (Palatine H.S.), and the house is conveniently located with easy access to IL-53 and Palatine Road. The house is also a 5 minute drive from two different METRA stations - Arlington Park and Palatine METRA. A lot more parking at Arlington Park which is my station of choice, and frequent trains due to primary location. Our kids walked to both the elementary school and jr. high school, which are both within blocks. The neighborhood and neighbors couldn't be better - all are extremely welcoming, though respect your privacy, and there are a ton of kids on the block who play outside in the Summer time. If we didn't have to relocate out of state for work, we would be here another 10 years. The interior of the house is newly painted with updated appliances including stainless steel refrigerator. The lighting is fantastic. The sizes of the master and second bedroom are pretty large and about equal, and the third bedroom is a good size also though smaller than the first two. There is also a large storage area in the basement. The yard is fantastic, fenced and full of greenery, including trees lining the street and fences. The entire place is hardwood. You will love it here, especially if you have a family with kids. Tenant responsible for property maintenance such as lawn care. Tenant pays utilities including water, trash, electric, gas, cable/internet.
