    What's special

This is a GORGEOUS and spacious 2 bedroom 2 full baths in Historic Old Louisville directly across from central park. It is very centrally located. I worked at the University when I lived here and I walked to work every day (about a mile). It's also an easy bus ride or drive to the heart of downtown (2-3 miles) or the Bardstown Rd area (5 minute drive). The neighborhood is great, filled with historic Louisville houses and local restaurants (some of the best in town such as 600 Magnolia are walking distance). Try Amici right down the street if you need food on your apt search, great food, owner lives in the neighborhood. Shakespeare in the Park happens in the park right across the street and the St. James art show also occurs right in front of the house once a year. Third floor (penthouse) unit with private rooftop balcony with a distant view of downtown. Washer/dryer in laundry room with utility sink Marble fireplace in living room Immaculate restored wood floors throughout (this is a historic building), marble bathrooms, and totally updated kitchen with granite countertops. There is tons of natural light in this unit and the building is secure with only three other units occupied by families or young professionals. Very quiet, secure, gated parking. I m biased but I think this is truly a rare find for a very reasonable price. All the amenities and tons of character! Move in as soon as July. Cats are OK, but sorry no dogs due to the floors. Please just reply to this post if you're interested. Highlands, University, Downtown, Old Louisville Open to shorter or longer leases as well
