You can go right out the back door onto an extensive network of trails in the beautiful Snowy Range in the Medicine Bow National Forest. Excellent for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, horse-packing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, etc. Snowy Range downhill ski area 4 miles away. Rated in the top-three areas in the USA for snowmobiling. Good rock climbing and paddling nearby. Wonderfully scenic area great for photography and painting, or just chilling out.
