The cabin was built by Oscar Willis, in 1886. This cabin is original to the area and became part of the Wolf Laurel community in 1965. The cabin needed extensive repairs to bring it back to life. We have repaired the original foundation. Repaired the leaking metal roof. Repaired the original chimney. Opened the second floor bedroom fireplace that was hidden behind a closet. Repaired the plumbing in the second floor half bathroom. Repaired out dated wiring. Repaired the kitchen subfloor wood rot. Installed ash pine wood flooring in the kitchen. Installed new kitchen plumbing. repaired the front porch wood rot. Installed a new HVAC unit for the first floor. Installed gas tankless water heater. Install gas heaters in the first floor two bedrooms. Install gas logs for the second floor bedroom fireplace. Installed new high efficiency windows.
