    Classic 1948 Trousdale mid-century modern on one of the most desired streets in Tahquitz River Estates. Los Angeles developer, Paul Trousdale, best known for creating tony, celebrity-filled Beverly Hills homes came to the desert in the 1940's and was the first to build on both sides of the ''creek.'' He sited 200 homes near Tahquitz Wash & dubbed his new community ''Tahquitz River Estates.'' Each home was architect designed with 8 models in 2-3 bedroom floor plans each with a fireplace. There were a total of 18 different exterior design elevations to personalize each home. This home was Model Plan #6. The original plan of this home was expanded to 2,250 sq ft with the addition of a third bath & expanded dining room. The original open breezeway was also enclosed to create an office & laundry.
