It is furnished (minus the open bedroom), and comes with a private, full bathroom. The area is very safe and quiet, and my neighbors include a policeman and a middle-aged married couple. There is a pool just steps away from my front door. Tons of parking available. The room also comes with a VERY spacious private patio and walk-in closet. I have a cat, so I would prefer not to have another animal in the house as he is friendly but becomes timid around other cats/dogs. I have the master bed/bath so I will pay a higher percentage of the rent. After utilities, the monthly cost of your living should be about $450, but never higher than $500. A little about the area: -Close to grocery and convenience stores -Right across from the Esplanade Mall & Target -Lots of restaurants nearby (Zeas, Copelands, Stingrays, Applebees, Sake Sushi, to name a few) -Movie theatre across the street -Close to LaFraniere Park & the Kenner Lakefront -Public transportation is available -Ochsner Kenner is right down the road A little about me: - I'm an LSU graduate (English, French, Int'l Studies) currently working in the service industry - I'm NOT a neat freak, but I do like to keep the place tidy - I enjoy reading, dancing, binge-watching Netflix, and napping - I get along with nearly everyone I meet and don't mind having friends over - I don't go out too much, but enjoy having a good time when I can - I've lived alone for the past year, so I'm looking for someone to balance a respectful yet openly friendly roommate relationship - I love comedy (Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Mindy Kaling) and watching Disney movies - I sing a lot of Shakira. . .. so. . . there's that.
