I'm renting a bright Columbia Heights condo. It's a 550 sq ft studio on the top floor of a row house on a quiet street. It has a large sky light and a huge private deck (300 sq ft), which was just rebuilt. It's a lovely spot to host evening dinner parties, get some air, and unlike most DC spots, the top floor breeze keeps the mosquitoes away. In terms of amenities, the washer and dryer are in-unit, there's a good dishwasher, a skylight, and central air is controlled by a Nest thermostat. Sound isolation is good: you won't hear the downstairs neighbor. The location is unbeatable: one block to most of the fantastic restaurants in the Columbia Heights neighborhood, one block to the green and yellow metro lines, and one block to the grocery store. For utilities: water and trash are covered, but you would pay for Wi-Fi and electricity. The unit is available starting April 1st. I'm out of state, but my current tenant is hosting an open house/drop-ins (3/14 11-1pm). Message me for details. I'd love to find someone who appreciates the space as much as I did when I lived there. I rented it and then loved living there enough to buy it from my previous landlord before ultimately leaving DC. **I typically get a lot of interest when I've posted this place in the past. I'm an individual owner looking for a tenant who will take care of the place, so please say a bit about yourself: what brings you to DC? Why does this place look like a good fit? ** Thanks! 1 year
