Small dogs and cats only. ...restricted breeds not allowed by insurance: insurance carriers do not recognize emotional support animals as service animals. Even service animals that are on the restricted breed lists can be an underwriting problem and many carriers will require proof of service training & certifications to request special approval (which is not guaranteed). Our insurance carrier does prohibit Pit Bulls and other restricted breeds. There is no liability coverage regardless of the breed for pets. However, in the event of an inspection or a loss, if our carrier found that a prohibited breed was in the home, they could cancel or non-renew our policy. To allow any service animal, we require the tenant to carry a renter's policy that includes animal liability with no breed restrictions, and request that we be listed as an additional insured, on that policy. 3x rent deposit. $500 non-refundable pet deposit. $25 per-pet monthly rent
