This house is a Lindal Cedar home and sits on 1.67 acres! It was built in 1986 and recently completed some renovations. The kitchen was updated with new granite countertops and backsplashes as well new stainless steel appliances. The south-facing sun room was replaced with an A-frame room which has made the space more livable. A stunning stone veneer was added to two sections of the house and a covered entryway was added. The construction added around 250 sq feet to the structure. A mudroom and a half bath were added to during the renovations as well. The mudroom has a beautiful slate tile floor and the rest of the addition has white oak hardwood floors. A stone retaining wall and landscaping was added approximately five years ago which has enhanced the front yard. Neighborhood Description The quietness and privacy of the subdivision is incredible. The houses are spread out far enough and wooded enough that you have a great sense of privacy. Each home sits on a minimum 1.5 wooded acres. All of the neighbors keep up their houses and respect each other's property and privacy. All of the houses are custom built so no two look the same. We are not in the city limits so taxes are very low. Yes, this means there is no water and sewer, but I have a great well that requires no filtering and have spent far less on any repairs for the septic and well than I would have spent paying the city. We are about 1.5 miles away from the RiverGate shopping center and about the same to the nearest South Carolina gas station where I save 10-12 cents per gallon to fill up.
