Country home in the foothills about 5 miles southeast of Orange Cove and about 10 miles directly east of Reedley. Incredible view of the foothills, and a lot of quiet and privacy. Although it is completely self contained with its own driveway, it is attached to the rest of the house, with a very quiet and respectful owner living on the other side. This was originally a 'mother-in-law' unit. It is 800 square feet, with a private covered porch of an additional 200 square feet. The only shared room is the laundry room, which is the room that attaches the two sides. The laundry room (about 90 square feet) will primarily be yours to use, with scheduled times for the owner to do laundry. There have been some recent updates, including new roof and solar power. There is also a small fenced side yard, but the property is situated on a full acre, surrounded by citrus trees, so there is plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. It's a beautiful and safe area where we all watch out for each other, with nice places to take long walks, or enjoy the night sky. The property is not on a through road, so it's like living on a big country cul-de-sac, with very little traffic. Cattle roam and graze on the hill right behind the house. This is coyote and rattlesnake country, but we don't see a lot of them. We mostly see birds and rabbits, occasional deer. One of the best features is that it's close to some of the best mexican food ever, Martha's in Orosi. There are plenty of restaurants in Reedley and Dinuba as well, along with a few in Orange Cove, Cutler, and Orosi. Utilities and water are included. Wi-fi may need to be separate for security reasons. No smoking allowed. Pets permitted with an initial meet and greet, and upon owner's approval only, as owner has small older dogs and an older cat. Visitors and guests allowed for short term stays only, and overnight stays should be coordinated with and approved by owner.
