The Property: The setting is a wooded lot of over acre with a seasonal wetland and creek out back that creates a lot of open space between you and neighbors. Inside, this home offers over 2500 square feet of living space. The open concept main level creates a comfortable gathering space, while the upper level offers a separate, secondary living space. Essential amenities for longer term occupancy include the fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated laundry area, a desk/workspace for working remotely, and reliably high speed fiber internet. Stay warm in winter with electric cove heaters and fireplaces plus forced air heat. At 8200 feet in elevation, staying cool is easy - just open the windows to let that cool mountain air inside, and turn on any of the many ceiling fans for fresh air circulation. When it's time to sleep, rest easy in new mattresses with quality linens and bedding. Bedroom 1 is on the main entry level, and is a true primary suite which easily accommodates a King size bed with sleigh bed frame and matching bedside tables. This bedroom includes a large SmartTV, ceiling fan, closet, dresser, and a private, ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom has a dual sink vanity and a large walk in shower with shower wand and corner bench. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are also on the main, entry level, but are on the opposite side of the living area, compared to Bedroom 1. Both of these two bedrooms feature sturdy bunk beds with a Twin bed over a Queen, which makes these rooms ideal for couples, singles, or kids, whatever your group dynamic may be. The second full bathroom is adjacent to these two bedrooms, and includes a shower and bathtub combo, perfect younger kids. Bedroom 4 is upstairs. This room has a Queen size bed, ceiling fan, lounging chair, and a desk, so if you need to get some work done, this private space is your retreat. The rest of the upper level consists of a very large second living room. This big bonus space includes a foosball table, a plush armchair, and large sectional sofa facing a big smart HDTV, with room to spare. The Location: The North Shore Mountain House is just North of Lake Granby, which is Colorado's third largest body of water, and has over 40 miles of shoreline. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and kokanee salmon. The Beacon Landing Marina is only mile from the home, an easy walk. There you can rent boats, launch a paddleboard, or buy some bait. This home's location is also very close and convenient to the town of Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Granby Ranch Ski Area. Accessing this property requires two steps up to the front porch and main level of the home You can also access the home from the side door, which requires 4 steps. Parking is plentiful. There is parking for up to 6 vehicles, with two spaces off to the side of the home, and spaces for up to 4 more vehicles in front. Since you'll probably have less than 6 vehicles, you might also have room to accommodate a boat or snowmobile trailer.
