The pool deck is fully screened in and there are plenty of sun loungers for relaxing in the gorgeous Florida sunshine.  The pool and jacuzzi overlook a wide grassy field and there is a small area with water that attracts wading birds.  For dining outdoors there is a large patio table with ample comfortable seating which is situated in a shady lanai area.  The Shires has a communal swimming pool, tennis courts, beach volleyball court and a fitness center.
