Just say NO to soulless corporate run apt blds with shared hallways and bro rooms. This gorgeous, super quiet, one bedroom apartment in Denver's Platt Park neighborhood (aka Wash Park West) could not be more convenient. The Old South Pearl Street business district (with Farmers Market and Sushi Den) is only two blocks away and Platte Park (with Decker Library) is only one block away. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Washington Park. This 750 sq ft apartment is one of the best examples of mid-century architecture in the neighborhood. The kitchen counter is 12 ft long and the 22 metal cabinets are all original (circa 1951). The refrigerator and gas stove are both stainless steel. The gas stove is brand new, cost $1000, and has never been used. The kitchen floors are e-z care ceramic tile and there is a row of glass bricks (circa 1951) in the breakfast nook. The gas forced air furnace is energy efficient and all the windows are all Anderson Energy Star rated. Central A/C was installed three years ago as were new entry doors with leaded glass. The floors are all solid oak (no cheap laminates) and were professionally refinished 2 years ago. Livingroom, hallway, and bedroom were recently textured and painted and track lighting was installed in the Livingroom. A new sink, faucet, and low flow toilet was recently installed in the bathroom. A new ceramic tile floor was just installed in the bathroom. The bedroom has a walk-in closet and a ceiling fan. This apartment, with windows on 3 sides and feels more like a free standing house than an apartment. The unit is part of a well maintained 4 family bld with onsite property manager. This is a tobacco free building that welcomes cats but regretfully not dogs or other non-feline pets. The apartment includes your own private gardening plot in the back yard. Outside of the kitchen door is a small patio area with a shade tree and a livestock planter tub for flowers (see photos). This unit is available for immediate occupancy... Credit report, the ability to talk to your current landlord/landlady, and proof of income are required. The minimum credit score that will be considered is 740. Showings by appointment only to qualified renters. As noted above a credit score of 740 or above (non-negotiable) is required to schedule a showing. If you would like to schedule a showing please complete the Zillow on line rental application. Subsequent to confirming your credit score I will reimburse you for Zillow's $35 application fee (in cash) when you come to tour the apartment. Once completed, this Zillow application allows you to submit your credit information to an unlimited number of Zillow offerings for 30 days. This reusable application covers tenant screening reports (Experian Credit plus Background Check) and helps streamline the process, preventing separate fees for each property. I require no application fees only the completed Zillow rental application. I will reach out to you subsequent to receiving that application to schedule a showing. Owner pays for water, sewer, trash. Renter pays Excel Energy directly for their gas and electric. All of the apartments in the bld are seperately metered. The rent of $1776 is per month and is based on single occupancy. There is a $100 per month fee for a second tenant. The monthly rent figure of $1776 was decided upon after careful market analysis. I consider this amount to be fair and equitable for all parties concerned. The somewhat unusual monthly rent of $1776 was also chosen to honor the upcoming birthday (1776) of our Great Country!
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
