The Zestimate on Zillow is grossly inaccurate. Zillow lists the house as 3500 sq. ft. when the actual size of our house according to Santa Fe County records is 4400 Sq. Ft with a 740 Sq Ft attached garage. In addition, this house is up-scale adobe construction which Zillow does not recognize. The recent Zestimate is a drop of over $100,000 from the previous month for no apparent reason. If you take the Zestimate of 549,000 (which is the recently lowered Zestimate) and adjust soley on the basis of sq footage (4400) then the zestimate should be 691,000. If you take the Zestimate of 30 days ago the adjustment becomes 817,000. A more accurate estimate lays somewhere between these two Zestimates. We are in the process of rectifying this with Zillow. According to the Zillow website, it may take weeks for changes to appear.
