Newly remodeled home with expanded kitchen/dining area. Large new outdoor deck, new grass/landscaping in the back yard. Wonderful neighborhood, 3 min walk to the elementary school and to an adjacent community playground, pickleball/tennis courts, and large fields. We are looking for a family or individual to rent that would take good care of our home and finishings. We plan to rent the house furnished (beds, couches, furniture, TVs, etc) with the expectation that renter maintains the items as part of the rental. We can store some or all of our furniture if needed. 5 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms on the upper floor, one bathroom main floor, large room and bathroom in the basement. The basement bedroom (6th bedroom) and 1/2 of the garage will be used as storage while we are away and not included in the rental. 1/2 of the garage is available to the renters. Duration of the lease is negotiable. We are away on a 10 month sabbatical late Aug 2025- June 2026. We have some flexibility to negotiate start and end dates. We are not accepting applications from groups of students as renters at this time. For utilities, we will pay for water/sewer. You will be responsible for gas, electric, and trash/recycling utilities. You will also be expected to maintain the yard (mowing, fertilizing, spraying for weeds) in fall, spring and summer months. As well as apply preventative pest control a couple times a year. Subletting during the lease is not permitted.
