The two-story condo has a huge living and dining room area with all hardwood floors, working fireplace, updated kitchen appliances, marble counter tops, and 1/2 bath on main floor. Condo has a washer/dryer in unit, and has central heating and AC. The living room will have space for additional furniture. The unit is part of the historic Car Barn Condominiums, which has a private pool for its residents. Residents also have the option for a private a parking spot for an extra fee. Otherwise, there is plenty of street parking available. Street parking in the neighborhood is very safe and I have had zero issues finding parking spots within the block. Rent is $1405 plus utilities (water/sewage is included in rent). Access to the 97 bus is directly in front of condo, and within 5 minute walk of multiple other bus lines (96, D6, and others). 10-15 walk to both Potomac Ave and Eastern Market metro stops, and numerous bike share hubs. There are two grocery stores within a 10 minute walk (Safeway and Harris Teeter) as well as the Farmers Market in Eastern Market. It's also within a convenient 10 minute walk to both H Street and Barracks Row nightlife. Most of my favorite restaurants in DC are within an easy walk (Toki Underground, Maketto, Rose's Luxury, Pretzel Bakery). I've lived here for 2 years and have absolutely loved it. I am leaving now to move in with my girlfriend. Roommate is a young professional. Male, very clean, quiet, easy-going, travels often for work. Room is available in mid to late June. **This is for the master bedroom in a 2 bedroom condo** Water/sewage included in the rent.
