Available May 1st (or as early as April 15th if need be), this is a one bed apartment on the 3rd floor of our two family Brownstone in Paulus Hook, downtown Jersey City. My husband and I live on the Garden and first floor. There is an Airbnb on the 2nd floor. These are photos of the apt. as taken by a former tenant. I can also email photos of current tenants style. Current bed is a king. Through AirBnB we do short term rentals of a bedroom (with its own lock) and bathroom on the 2nd floor. They do not have access to the 3rd floor. There is NO broker's or application FEE, but a credit check may be required (credit check fee will be paid by applicant) There are hardwood floors and lots of natural light. In the summer a window A.C. is required as it's a top floor with southern exposure. The current tenant is selling his A.C. and microwave. Both almost new. The bathroom includes a small washer/dryer and there are two large closets. The heat is steam heat through radiators. There is a shared front entrance and internal staircase for all occupants, but the apt. is private with its own locks. There are two cats who have the run of public spaces, but they do not go up to the 3rd floor. It is a 5-10 minute walk to PATH at Grove St. or Exchange Place. Parking on the street is relatively easy. A permit is required. Rent is $1750 plus one month security deposit. Heat and kitchen hot water is included in rent. The bathroom and W/D have their own hot water heater paid for by tenant. Electric is paid by tenant.
