If you appreciate a family owned and well cared for classic brick building with and a great location, you will love this space. Awesome neighborhood with great schools. **Incredible value- water, sewer & gas included!! Landlord perspective... It is rare to find a treasure like this so close into Seattle. This building has all of the advantages of a home. Generous living and storage spaces with maintained yard and gardens to enjoy. It is nice to have a little elbow room. The property runs from the street to the alley where we have off street parking. There is limited pressure on the parking in front which adds to the quality of life for guests and access to your home. Walk out your door to upper Queen Anne, Kerry Park or lower Queen Anne. West facing washing you in sunshine which is a priority for me in Seattle. We love seeing people enjoy this wonderful building. Previous tenants (top floor) testimonial... "My husband and I loved living on the second floor of 1416 10th Ave W in Queen Anne. Waking up to the views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound was incredible. We could watch the seasons change by seeing how much snow topped the mountains. In the evenings the view of the sunset over the mountains through the large Living Room window was unparalleled. The apartment's location makes for an easy walk to Queen Anne Ave (coffee shops, restaurants, gym, yoga, grocery stores) and an easy drive to downtown and other parts of Seattle such as Ballard. It is also close to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. There are direct routes to I-5 and 99, both key routes in Seattle and for leaving the city for other adventures. A short walk brings you up through the historic Queen Anne neighborhood and a great walk or run. Kerry Park and Elliot Bay are both easy to get to as well. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace on fall and winter nights and used the back yard for BBQ's and just hanging out in the sun. The floor plan allows for privacy in that both bedrooms are off a hallway rather than right off the living space. Having windows on all sides of the apartment allowed us to open them all in the spring and summer allowing for really nice airflow during those months. We loved the 1950's vintage charm and character and found it really fun to play off of when setting up the apartment. There is ample storage in the building and laundry use is easy. Neighbors in the building and next to the building are pleasant but also allow for privacy. We never had an issue. The building is also well built and maintained with little to no issues. We had a really wonderful time in this apartment and know it will bring joy to those that have the unique opportunity to live there in the future." Previous tenants (main floor) testimonial... Nestled off a quiet street in Queen Anne, the "brickhouse" offers solitude from the hustle and bustle of downtown. You are extremely close to Kinnear and Kerry Parks with dozens of hidden staircases to climb, preparing you for hikes in the surrounding mountains. With a dining room water view, spacious backyard, off-street parking and quiet and engaging neighbors, this location is a gem. Upon entering, the gorgeous hardwood floors are a wonder before you enter a large living space with two bedrooms. The dining space provided the perfect spot for many board game nights. The large, picturesque window is perfect for bird watching in the front yard trees with a cup of coffee. The kitchen has a dishwasher, large refrigerator and tons of cupboard space. There is plenty of closet space with additional storage in the basement. tenants split water, sewer, garbage. dogs or cats require separate pet deposit.
