Unique situation! This freshly remodeded 3/2 just in Old North Longmont sits at the end of a quiet street next to a cul de sac (ish). Great neighbors, quiet and safe area, fabulous for a small family. There's a big detatched garage with alley access and a fully fenced yard (two of em, actually) perfect for the kiddos and the pup (chain link though, not 6 foot...) There's a big ash tree in the back yard with a newly constructed tree house (yes a tree house!) perfect for the adventurous kiddos. The house inside is a 3/2, but is unique because the third bedroom has an additional separate entrance so it can also be configured more like a 2/1 with an addiitonal mother-in-law suite or small studio apartment. Although I'm only interested in doing one lease, this could be a good option for someone like a small family who also wants to rent along with an additional friend or family member, but that friend wants a little more privacy or independence. (I'd be happy to leave behind the loft bed and kitchenette equipment to make it easy!) A complicating factor here is that I suffered some water damage around Thanksgiving and am currently in the process of having floors in three of the rooms replaced, as well as all new kitchen cabinets. So - the house is a total construction zone! Everything is supposed to be fully finished by the end of February but I'm a little wary with all of the construction delays and such. The upside is that you'd be moving into a freshly remodeled house. (The video below of course doesn't show this....) I could show it as is but ask for a little grace as it's like a bomb went off in there right now. :-) We have a bunch of furniture we were going to get rid of but if it would be helpful to have a place at least partially furnished (piano anyone??) we could do that (I'm looking at you Marshall fire folks.) (Keep in mind - the furniture in that case would be well-worn and generally stuff I was just going to give away!) My ideal tenants might be a small family. A handy person would be amazing. My son was raised in this house but we've outgrown it - hopefully someone else will love it too! I can only share a few photos here of the outside and of the 3rd / master bedroom (when it was set up like an Airbnb) but if we start a conversation I can share a video I took of the inside. All three lawn areas are fully irrigated. There's a great place to put in raised beds by the clothesline but I never did.... Could be an awesome spot for someone with a green thumb! The layout is a little wonky. Three bedrooms, one of which is kinda long and skinny and could easily be partitioned into two spaces. We are looking for a year lease, ideally. No smoking on the property, and professional and respectful individuals with great references only. Priority given to fire victims. All details TBD. Ideally you'd set up your own utilities but for fire victims we could maybe work out some kind of package deal. Special consideration given to handy folks or gardeners.
