Welcome to the Abode Above! At 4,593 feet above sea level you'll find this home to be the perfect dwelling to call home during your Colorado excursions. With its convenient location to downtown Grand Junction, the Colorado National Monument, Powderhorn ski resort and endless adventure opportunities, this abode really is above the rest. The home is equipped with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, TV in both living rooms with cable and internet, WIFI, coffee (we have Keurig, French press and a regular good old fashioned coffee pot!), a fenced backyard with a fire pit and a grill, and plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The home sleeps 6. We have it configured with a queen bed in two rooms, and a twin and full futon in the third bedroom. There is also another full futon in the downstairs living room if needed, giving lots of sleeping options! Staying here in our quiet downtown neighborhood puts you at the center of everything! Its .8 miles to the downtown core which is about a 15-20 minute walk along White Ave. We love the downtown with its creatively curved Main Street and sidewalks- the local shopping, dining and drinks are the perfect way to enjoy this town! The Colorado National Monument is 5 miles away, a 10 minute drive. Our favorite hike is Serpents trail, no dogs allowed but we highly recommend it for the views and fresh mountain air. Fruita and Palisade are both about 20 minutes’ drive away where you can experience local beer, wine and distilled beverages as well as hiking, biking and more adventure!
