It is now known as the Byrne-Nelson Home on the Baldwin County Historic Register, a distinction it shares with numerous other properties in the Magnolia Springs Historic District. The village is also home to one of the area's finest restaurants, Jesse's, as well as a Baldwin County Public Library, the Magnolia Springs Garden Club and Community Association, walking paths and of course, the Springs Park. There are several public water access points in the village to the lovely Magnolia River, the closest being a block away on Jessamine Street.
