The finished basement adds approximately 500+ square feet of living space between the office and family room in addition to the 1,632 square feet listed for the first and second floors. The finished basement has a third zone, refrigerator, cabinets, counter tops/bar stool area, and deep sink. In addition, the home is located in a cul de sac so there is limited traffic and it is close to route 2 and 190. There is also a section of the basement with an entry point that is used for storage and mechanicals. The oil tank is accessible and was framed in when the basement was finished in 2004. We replaced all of the original windows in the house with Harvey Tributes in May of 2015. The front door and rear slider were replaced with Thermatru products in May of 2013. In October of 2013 we had energy audit work done which included adding six inches of additional blown in insulation to the attic and air sealing of the attic, basement, and living spaces. Additionally, door insulation seals were also improved. The result was a 16% improvement in the blower door test, which is most likely even better now that the windows have been replaced. In October 2015, we added a 40 gallon Bradford White indirect water heater as well as a 10 foot by 12 foot shed for additional storage. The kitchen was completely redone in September 2017. In May 2018, we had the roof stripped and new architectural shingles were installed (GAF). Additionally, in September 2018 the garage doors were replaced along with the openers and all the hardware (Garaga doors and Liftmaster openers). The gutters and downspouts were replaced in January of 2019 and the second floor gutters have leaf guards.
