4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a great neighborhood close to the best schools in the area, high quality grocery stores and the beautiful rails to trails bike path. There is a garden and a compost pile in the backyard as well as a covered front porch for relaxing on in all weather. When you first walk in the door on ground level, you are greeted by the spacious, shared living room with a cozy vibe and a tranquil 100 gallon fish tank for our African Sideneck turtle named Torrence. Beyond the living room, is the shared open-concept kitchen and dining area with ample counter and cupboard space and seating for up to eight people. The master bedroom and a shared full bathroom are also on ground level as well as the laundry room which is connected to the two car garage. Upstairs is three nicely sized bedrooms which can easily fit a king sized bed along with other furniture such as a chair, dresser, vanity, etc. and another shared full bathroom. These rooms have all been recently been remodeled with blonde wood flooring, flat wall texturing, fresh paint, new lighting, and ample closet space. This house is well-maintained and very clean. Water sewer, garbage, electricity and internet costs are all built into the price of renting. Rooms can be fully furnished for you or can be emptied to allow for your personal furniture. This will be a six month lease duration. There will be a $500 non-refundable pet deposit required and pets must be overall well-behaved and friendly with our cat and our children. The yard is not completely fenced so any dogs will either need to be leashed or know how to stay in the yard on their own. No smoking will be allowed on the property inside or outside, the smell will follow you in. Only very moderate alcohol consumption will be tolerated since we want a stable home environment for our kids. Noise levels must go down to casually talking at 8pm when the baby goes to sleep. There will not be any TVs in the shared spaces but obviously you can have one in your room if you'd like. We are open to implementing family style meals where we take turns cooking dinner for the household. Fees will be tacked on to the cost of rent if we are regularly having to clean up after you. We are open to you hosting your own dinner/holiday parties and tabletop game gatherings as long as we have advanced notice and your friends fit the description of a clean, family friendly, respectful human. A contract will be signed to ensure these details are respected.
