We thought we would live here forever, but here we are with our home sweet home for sale. 2.4 acres with a home that is brick construction with exterior walls that are 11 inches thick, this home was built well. The floor joists are on 13 inch centers instead of 16 making for strong floors and no sagging. With a detached garage that was once a carriage house in addition to a livestock barn you will have everything you need. Crossbuck wood fence adds character and also is great livestock fencing. The property it totally fenced with a large cedar picket fenced area for your dogs behind the house. There is a large finished enclosed porch and large covered patio on the rear that has just undergone a transformation to crafstman style. The house, outbuildings and yard are shaded by huge Maple, Oak and Pine trees. We have 2100 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with one bedroom and bath being on the main floor. There is a kitchen, dining room, living room with gas log fireplace and a front enclosed porch that is finished and insulated. All of the bedrooms are of good size and all have large step-in closets. The third upstairs bedroom could also serve as a second living space, which we used it for for several years, with a vaulted ceiling it's a neat room. Also upstairs is a very large finished attic space for storage and another hall closet that is actually a walk-in. There’s an abundance of storage in this house! We have a full basement that is partially finished with a rec room that we used for our home gym and we also have a laundry room in the basement. We are on city water. The replacement windows tilt in for easy cleaning. The house has oak floors in every room, some exposed and some covered with carpet, except for the bathrooms and kitchen. The heat is triple zoned hot water baseboard heat. Outbuildings - The garage is more than roomy enough for two cars plus workshop area with cabinets and ample storage as well. New electrical panel in the garage and new water line ran to the barn. 2019 - New carpet on the main floor. Total remodel of the main floor bathroom including a new tiled shower with glass door. New can lights and celing fan in the living room. Total rewire of the barn with animal proof conduit protected wiring and all new fixtures and many outlets added. New stall fronts. 2020 - Rebuilt/style change rear covered patio, including a new roof. New exterior front door. All new blinds.
