The house is largely unchanged from 1942, in the best sense. It has been maintained but not modified. The gas range is the original 1942 range, which I have had reconditioned, and it works beautifully. There are many beautiful details in the house including coved ceilings, wood beamed ceilings, built in book cases and display cases, a telephone stand in the kitchen, original fixtures, the original steel windows. There is a small apartment with a 3/4 bath across the breezeway and a beautiful wood paneled pool room with 2 changing rooms facing the very large pool (you can actually swim laps) The 2 car garage is in the same building. The back yard looks like a resort or at least a movie star's backyard from the 50's, which it was. The house was owned by Virginia Mayo at one time.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
