From the moment you open the front door you see incomparable warmth and beauty from the slate entry to the expansive 30' high wall of windows trimmed in cedar, capturing the magnificent 180* views of the mountains and the valley! It really feels like you're on the top of the mountain. Built out of Oak Logs with gorgeous rich wood grain and oak beams. The pine log stairs, railings, tongue & groove cedar ceiling and the incredible main support post are amazing! It is so great to enjoy your morning coffee watching the stunning sunrises or happy hour with spectacular sunsets from the expansive redwood decks or the beautiful open living room with a big gas fireplace! It's so wonderful to watch the storms roll in while feeling safe & cozy! The lifestyle here is incomparable. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 3 lofts and an office or flex space overlooking the living room with close-able cedar doors upstairs and log railings all around. The large primary bedroom and 2 other bedrooms also have lofts above with log staircases & log railings. Adjacent to the primary bedroom is a large closet with convenient built-in shelves and lots of room for hanging clothes, and a steam room in the primary shower. On the lower level there's an additional bedroom, 3/4 remodeled bath and office/flex space. There is also a full bar (an Irish Pub), a family room that's perfect for watching movies and sports, and a large storage room. On the main floor there's a kitchen with an island and peninsula, a butler's pantry with a coffee/tea bar, dining room, powder room and a laundry room with an electronic doggie door which can be locked. There's an Invisible Fence covering almost 2 acres and we're happy to lend you the dog collars. Also on the main floor there's a convenient mud room with coat hooks and lots of shelves and an oversized 2 car attached garage with a brand new garage door, some shelves and an extra side by side fridge and freezer. The driveway has extra parking for cars and space for a boat and camper. The outdoor areas have rock outcroppings and 5 decks (3 redwood), that brings a wonderful sense of peace and gratitude! It's only a 10 minute drive to Evergreen Parkway and less than 30 minutes to Denver West. Easy access to amazing outdoor recreational activities! Evergreen Lake has kayaking, canoeing, SUPs, free lake house concerts in the summer and X-country skiing trails, ice skating and tons of hockey rinks in the winter. We even have our own Zamboni! There are also public and private golf courses. Echo Mountain has skiing only 15 minutes from the house and there's world class skiing less than an hour away. The X-country skiing and hiking trails around the house and in Evergreen are fantastic! There's also amazing restaurants & bars, shopping and live music in incredibly fun Evergreen (sometimes referred to as a college town for grownups)! The Center of The Arts Evergreen is fabulous and they're building a beautiful new stage for awesome concerts at Buchanan Park right next to one of the recreation centers. The pools, climbing wall, fitness areas with weights and variety of classes for all ages plus indoor and great outdoor pickleball and tennis courts are wonderful. The proximity to Denver with all of the cultural and sports opportunities, plus the recreational activities in the mountains, make this the perfect place for an amazing lifestyle! We believe this is the BEST Mountain Lodge home in the best community ever! Owner pays for water. Renter is responsible for propane, electricity, garbage/recycling, internet and Direct TV. Last month's rent is due at signing of lease. Up to 2 dogs are allowed. No smoking. Lease is for 12 months, after that possibly on a month to month basis. Rental Insurance is required. Rent is $5500/month.
