This storied landmark was born in 1878 as the Caspar Lumber Company store. Today, its wonderfully-intact 19th-century facade is an iconic visual marker for those traveling Highway 1. The ceilings slope from 14 feet high to 12 feet over the length of the structure with the interior space divided into three distinct sections. The front room, with soaring ceiling and two giant skylights, is being used as a high-end painting studio. The middle section is a cavernous space with five skylights and tall arched windows along the south wall.
